She specializes in crafting bilingual (Spanish and English) messages for esteemed clients like Universal Pictures, Sony Pictures, and Telemundo Network. From creating engaging media alerts and catchy pitches to meticulously managing travel arrangements and expenses, Giselle ensures that her clients' stories resonate with their audiences.
In the future, Giselle aspires to transition into the public affairs or non-profit sector, where she can utilize her communication and community-building skills to positively impact society. Giselle's achievements extend beyond her professional roles. In 2020, she was part of a team of public relations students who participated in the national Bateman Case Study competition. This challenging competition tasked students with launching campaigns focused on promoting civility. In May 2021, Giselle and her teammates celebrated a significant victory, earning first place in PRSSA's 2021 Bateman Case Study Competition.
Beyond her academic and professional achievements, Giselle was the 2021-2022 PRSSA-LB Director of Fundraising and Events at the Long Beach chapter. Additionally, she worked as a receptionist at the ASI Campus Events Office on her university campus. Her diverse experiences include roles such as Social Media Manager of CSULB's 2021 Bateman Team, Business Assistant at Forty-Niner Student Media, and Assistant Special Projects Editor at the Daily 49er.
Giselle's dedication to her field is further evident through her active involvement in organizations like the Public Relations Student Society of America, Genexcel, and the Latinx Faculty Mentee program. She specializes in talent relations, written communications, media relations, donor relations, strategic communications, writing, copyediting, social media, and client relations—skills she continues to enhance and build upon.
In her free time, Giselle indulges in her love for reading, music, journaling, and attending concerts. She is also an aspiring writer who enjoys creating stories and dreams of one day becoming a best-selling author by publishing her captivating narratives.
